The first thing you notice about Highland West is the beautiful lounge just beyond the entrance which is designed for gracious visiting. The facility includes a recreation room with pool table, kitchen, outdoor barbecue and picnic tables. A guest room is available for your overnight visitors at a nominal fee. A penthouse meeting room and kitchen with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains can also be used by residents for family parties, etc. Residents are encouraged to participate in the many activities available to them, including but not limited to: game night, exercise class, yoga class, and a on-site hair salon/barbershop. We also have regular visits by podiatrist and a blood pressure clinic. Social activities range from quarterly Birthday Parties to Saturday morning coffee and monthly potluck get-togethers.

Three types of apartment are available: Studio, One Bedroom and Two Bedroom. All units are unfurnished and include drapes, stove, refrigerator, and air conditioning. The building has a secured entrance, elevators, mail boxes, coin-operated laundry facilities on each floor and a library and card/game room on the penthouse level.
